Admissions Clerk

Location:Abilene, TX
Employment Type:Full Time
Duties:Responsible for processing Admissions, charge entry, ICD-9 code entry functions, PBX system operations, mailroom duties and serves as an information resource to staff, patients, families and other agenciees.
Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 2 years work experience. Knowledge of general admission process, or basic office procedures, practices and equipment necessary to function is required. Requires a minimum of 50 WPM typing skills and data entry skills. Experience in using Windows and Word is required. This position also requires a very high level of accuracy in data entry, the ability to multi-task, and a high level of excellent communication skills to ensure quality customer service is provided to all customers at all times.

Must possess excellent communication skills in person and on the phone and be able to interact well with many different types of people with tact and a polite/positive attitude. Must possess excellent organizational skills. Must be well groomed.
